The Czech Republic

The world at large doesn't lead to hell nor does the monastery lead to heaven.

Czech proverb[spacer height="20px"]

The Czech Republic was the perfect mix of old world charm and moodiness-- unusual and inventive, clever and dark. Prague is a sprawling kingdom, with stone knights guarding gated towers and Gothic church spires. In Kutna Hora we visited the Bone Church-- stacks of ancient human bones turned into a creepily artistic cathedral.[spacer height="20px"]

And yet the darkness is appealing in it's somewhat morbid beauty, and the sense of stepping into the medieval creativity of the past is undeniable.
